Goal of the CCD

The goal of this project is to create a common and freely accessible database of chemicals over the internet. This database contains chemicals with their physical characteristics. Everybody can submit chemical information using Expereact Web and retrieve information with a Web browser.

The CCD for chemical users

The CCD displays information about chemicals (physical and chemical characteristics, structure, MSDS and more.) on the Internet in order to create a world-wide database. It is free to consult and easily accessible over the Internet on any computer using a web browser.

The CCD contains for now over 40,000 chemical structures, 16,000 MSDS and more than 100,000 products with various information.

The directory can be searched by registry number, molecular formula, chemical name or synonyms in different languages as well as by physical and chemical characteristics and combinations of those data. The CCD may also be searched by substructure.

The CCD for chemical suppliers and researchers

Any chemical supplier as well as academic laboratories around the world may share their information over the Internet through the CCD. This means to enter your list of products into the CCD. This can be done easily using Expereact WEB. This service is free.

For each information entered in the CCD a link will be added so those interested may directly contact the companies or laboratories who supplied the information.

Chemical suppliers also have the opportunity to use our search engine in their own web pages. In this way it is possible to display only your products as the results of any searches. This service costs from $20 per month (see our http://www.chemexper.com -> prices). For a one-time extra fee we may also customise the output of queries to make them coherent with the individual design of suppliers' web pages.

What about false information ?

The goal of this database is to require no management. How can we guarantee that the data in the database is credible? We solve the problem of false information by :
